Genre - Tactical Shooter
Valorant has been one of my most played video games. The genre is a tactical shooter and it implements both gunplay as well as the use of abilities. It is a competitive game for those who like the thrill of competition going against other real-life players. With the style being a 5 player vs. 5 player rule. The main objective is to either defeat all the enemy teams' opponents or from planting a spike which detonates after some time. Victory is achieved from the first team to reach 13 rounds! There are many different characters and abilities which makes the game action-packed and eventful each time you play.
Going more into detail, aside from the competitive gamemode there are also other gamemodes as well! Such as: Unrated, Spike Rush, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Escalation. All of them have their own unique twists to them so if you are not a competitive gamer fear not these gamemodes are just for you! There is also the Practice Range in which you can just practice on your aim and shoot bots to get better at the game. Overall, there are many different weapon choices for all different styles of play. Even having a cosmetic Item Shop which you can change the appearance of your weapons with cool effects and such! I would recommend this game to anyone who is at least a teen due to the violence and fast-paced nature of the game. If you like strategic gameplay which involves both gunplay and abilities, this is the game for you!
